By using mermaid.tools, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
The service
mermaid.tools is a free, open-source, browser-based editor for creating, previewing, and exporting Mermaid diagrams. The service is provided by the project's maintainers as available and may change, become unavailable, or contain errors.
Your content and responsibility
You retain responsibility for Mermaid source, diagrams, filenames, and other content you create or provide. You must have the rights needed to use that content and must not use the service unlawfully or to violate another person's rights.
Editing, rendering, project storage, and exports primarily occur in your browser. Shared links encode diagram content in the URL; anyone who receives a shared link can read its diagram. Do not place confidential information in shared links or public issue reports.
Third-party software and services
The service uses Mermaid and other third-party libraries and infrastructure. Their own licences, terms, and privacy practices may apply. mermaid.tools is an independent editor not affiliated with the Mermaid.js project or Mermaid Chart / mermaid.ai.
No warranty
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. You are responsible for checking diagrams and exports before relying on them and for keeping backups of important source files and projects.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the project's maintainers and contributors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, revenue, or business arising from use of or inability to use the service.
Changes
These terms may be updated by publishing a revised version with a new effective date. Continued use after a revision means you accept the revised terms.
